Save the Date for London: May 12th and 13th
Just a brief note to reserve the date if you are interested in attending a London lighting seminar.I have blocked off the time to get over to the UK and will be doing two, all-day seminars: One on Saturday and one on Sunday. I was originally looking at the summer, but scheduling conflicts prohibited.
I very much appreciate the feedback you offered on the Flickr thread. Among other things, I will be repeating the Saturday seminar on Sunday in response to the requests of the wedding shooters who tend to be booked on Saturdays.
I am looking forward to meeting many of you and hopefully experiencing one (or two, or three) of your famous pubs in the evenings surrounding the seminars.
More info (and more coming) on the London Workshop Flickr thread. Please use the workshop thread as opposed to the previous "British Strobists Introduce Yourself" thread to avoid confusion.

What's the deal Dave? Your own statistics put readership in the US at 58% of the 100,000+ unique IP's and the UK comes in at 7%. I certainly don't want to deprive our friends over the pond of your fine tutelage, but thats some funny math.
Any chance you will make a trip to the west coast this year?
Jason-
I am planning several seminars in various locations in the US this year. But the London location requres a little more advance planning, so I am lining up that one first.

Gah. I'm at a wedding in germany (as a guest) that weekend :-(
Oh man thats my daughters birthday weekend, theres no way Id be able to get from Galway to london in one day.Fancy a day out in Ireland before you go back? I used to be a chef and make some pretty good southern fried chicken of 24 hour pork shoulder? My wife makes some mean burritos too
Go on you know you want to
David,
What happened to your French plans?
@ Reg -
Nor would you want to. Daughter's b-day trumps day-long, intensive lighting seminar every time.
@Stephan -
My hope is to get to Paris in the fall, depending on the success of London. But London is for sure, and Paris is still tentative.
@Dorian -
With a little luck, maybe the wedding will be called off...
@ Bill -
That's a Southwest Airlines city, which is a big point in its favor for the future.
Hi David, I would love to help you out on the setup and tear down for these days . . . I cant wait Graham.
Dave, count me in I would love to get more involved with this approach.
