A Magic Disappearing Act
From your reports, I had assumed that the Light Science and Magic books were running in short supply. I talked to Moishe at MPEX today, and he confirmed that (a) they have pretty much dried up, and (b) are not expected back until early August.(D'oh!)
Moishe scrounged about 25 of them by
UPDATE: Michael tells us in the comments that Amazon has gotten some back in since this post was written, too. Cool beans.

For the benefit of UK strobists, the bookshop at The Register has them in stock (at the time of writing) for a reasonable price. Ordered mine there last week and got it the next day.

I'm fairly sure they ship overseas if needed....
Amazon.com has plenty of them. Come on, we don't have to order everything from Moishe do we?

David,
I hope that if you ever bump into any of the authors of this book socially, they buy you a beer...!
I've had my copy for a couple of months now -- its already 'warn from wear', with numerous 'postits' hanging from the edges...
Tks
Steve
Michael-
Nope. Sure don't. Amazon had been out for quite awhile. Thanks for the heads-up. I will post an update.
Thanks,
David
I was really excited to buy this book, and since I work at Borders, I figured that I should be able to order it from some back-stocked warehouse somewhere...alas, nothing. The book is entirely unavailable through us for now, but hopefully the August supply thing will come through, though sooner would be nice...
Any update on these ? Amazon currently (as of 7/24) has the expected ship date as 9/24.
