Multumesc, and Spasiba
Thanks to the concerted efforts of several multi-lingual readers, Lighting 101 has been released in two more languages: Romanian and Russian.
The Romanian team included Christian Vladoaica, Anica Pandrea and Andrei Botesteanu. The Romanian translation can be retrieved as a pdf here, via Mediafire.
The Russian team included Dmitry Mayorov, Irene Ponomarova, Kosmynin Ivan and Max Polivanov. The Russian translation can be retrieved here.
Many thanks, in many languages. (And cool design, on both!) More L101 translations are in the pipeline.

At first I thought I had a problem with my RSS reader. Romanian "Mulțumesc" on Strobist? Couldn't be!
But it is and thank you, and the translators, for bringing the content over in Romanian.

Graet thanks !

Multumesc
How cool is that? This was a word that I learned in while visiting Romania in August. It kind of jumped off the page as I browsed the strobist for updates.
WOW! I'm from Moldova (currently in US) and I know very well both languages, Romanian (native) and Russian (second language). When I first read the title "Multumesc and Sposibo" I jumped "What a heck?! Am I he right place?" :).
Multumesc si eu! Am citit in EN 101, dar o sa il citesc si in RO!
Thank you too! I've first read 101 in EN, but will check the RO translation too!
Multumesc ;)
Spasibo to the translators! Great job! Good to retrieve some past knowellege now in native language and really cool and clear design too!
P.S. Sure it will help another half million people or more now!

Glad too see you've "hit" my country too! Cheers to all you guys!
Unfortunately, link to russian translation doesn't work for me. Mediafire page loads and then says "file not found".
Hey, Ihor-
Thanks for the heads-up. THe Russian xlation has been served up 3,300 times so far. But Mediafire does seem to having an outage right now.
Try it again later? Or, if anyone wants to mirror is, please leave the URL in the comments.
Thx,
DH
