Parabolic Activity
Ever have a problem with onlookers nosey-ing around on a shoot?
Photographer Radu Dumitrescu (that's his voice on the tape) was shooting in an abandoned house in Bucharest, Romania when a couple of intrepid guys noticed flashing lights inside the house and decided to investigate. When they raised their cell phones to capture hard proof of the afterlife, Radu laid down on the remote trigger and gave them a show.
They only got one reaction on tape, but Radu said the guys repeatedly came back to the house only to be scared back off again by the flashes. Anyone who can have this much fun with a flash trigger is truly a man after my own heart.

Also made some cool shadows on the ceiling with the flashlight. The house had no power, so they couldn't see us :)
After finishing the shoot, I packed all the gear and we left the house.
They were now on the other side of the road still looking and pointing at the house (although the flashes didn't pop anymore).
They ran whenever they heard the slightest sound. I thought about doing a ghostly boo :) but the girl I was with (the model) said that I was too evil.
It was the funniest thing I ever saw at a shoot.
Brilliant!! :)
Ha! That's hilarious.
Thank you for sharing. That started my morning with a laugh. I have often wondered what others think when they see flashes going off in odd or dark places. Know there evidence of some of their reactions.
Y'mean everybody hasn't done something like that at one time or another...
My best tale involved a car salesman, a remote opener, and a showroom full of witnesses. Same theory, slightly different application, except the chief antagonist is now sitting in Congress...
I must say that is hilarious.. maybe the old house has a legend with ghosts... :D
These rubes are confused by a camera flash? A simple point-and-shoot camera would do the same thing, LOL!
This is just too funny!
This is a riot! Love it.

Wet my pants at 1:04.
Try putting a flash on a speed camera and trigger every time a car passes, for more shenanigans try shoot the victims reaction!
Love it, LOL
Gotta love superstitious people.
