New Online Source for SB-24 Manual

Thanks to a a tip from Bob in the comments of an archive post, there is now a new source for the much-loved c. 1988 Nikon SB-24 speedlight. This is especially important if you come across a cheaper used one that has long since lost the painted-on labels on the control buttons.
(More info on the flash itself here.)

David, you killed me with that one. I banged onto the page thinking there was a new place to buy the darn things, and (happy day!) I happened to be one of the first to see it to boot. I feverishly clicked the link, the taste of victory tantalizingly calling... and then your Google link crushed my hopes and dreams. Nonetheless, that's certainly a valuable resource for anyone with an SB-24 ;)
Here is a GREAT SOURCE for Manuals of ALL KINDS
http://safemanuals.com/
I downloaded manuals for all my Nikon Equipment
and carry the PDF files on my IPOD.
All my manuals in my pocket!
I got this manual a long time ago. Didn't know anyone was looking for it. You might want to reference the acutal document here:
http://www.lensinc.net/manuals/SB24_user.PDF
The document also has lensinc.net's logo on the pages.
And for those who want it in french : http://www.google.be/url?sa=U&start=3&q=http://www.nikonpassion.com/modules/mydownloads/visit.php%3Fcid%3D4%26lid%3D53&ei=RHv5SZ3ZDYTNjAf38pC7Aw&sig2=ur9BVoJX8ZM2YOhgvfx-HA&usg=AFQjCNF8mZJ7REKV9Upm3pYF6NnlGSfgJA
You could also go to Butkus Manuals. I use them extensively for Sunpak flashes.
This link has manuals for up to the SB-28:
http://www.butkus.org/chinon/nikon/nikon_sb_flashes/nikon_sb_flashes.htm
He has all kinds of manuals

I think the formatting is better for the on Patrick posted. That is the version I use.
I'm continually perplexed at the lack of credible, usable, instructions for the Canon flash equipment. The one book that is out, is useless. No new book on the 5D Mk2 as well - sigh. I'm whining, I know it.
Sure wish Dave could covince nikon to produce a second run of 24s. No R&D needed.
Don't really need a manual for the SB24 because it's so easy to use. Turn it on, put it on manual, select the power setting and the zoom setting and shoot :-)
It's funny that the SB-24 was introduced 21 years ago. The SB-900 have a whopping 1/3 stop more power than we had 20 years ago. Good thing I have 7 SB-24s in my bag :-)
Nikon offers manual for all speedlights other than the SB-24

I love this site. Cheers for the links as I've just now bought an SB-24 from eBay on the cheap. Can't wait to get my grubby mits on it!
